Hello!

Hey, I’m Maggie, a recovering physicist from New Zealand, now living in Scotland.

I managed to become disabled in the last few years and have started entertaining myself by writing about Formula 1, and other things of interest to me.

Kind of by just existing as a woman, I've long since noticed the political undertones of life, and I like exploring this through gossip. Yup, I just turned politics into gossip. Follow me for more wild simplifications!

I used to watch every race live when I was a teenager, then life got in the way, you know, work, depression and what not, and my passion waned.

But now it’s back and so much in the sport has changed. I’m diving into all the ins and outs and the hows and whys of F1. And sometimes I just want to poke fun at the absurdity of it all.

And I’m sharing this with all of you because, well, I want to. Also, my partner is sick of me talking about it, so I have to get my thoughts out somewhere.

Join me as I proceed to fall down the rabbit hole of Formula 1…

Free subscribers get posts about once or twice a month on something that’s caught my eye, or I think needs some attention, and sometimes something I just want to poke fun at.

Down the Rabbit Hole

Paid subscribers get the Down the Rabbit Hole posts. These are longer posts with in-depth thoughts and musings. This is where I have different series of posts safety, or The Max Paradox, for example. These occur approximately fortnightly.

You’ll also have my gratitude for your support in helping me produce this wee beast 🥰
